I was reading TowleRoad yesterday and I found a post about Michelle Obama speaking at a meeting of the LGBT Caucus at the DNC. If I didn't already love her before, this sealed the deal for me.



I listened to parts of what she said and I was impressed. It was almost as good as Teresa Heinz speech four years ago at the same event. I'll never forget that speech because she said one line that really stuck with me. It was about all of the gay and lesbian kids out there whose parents had disowned them because of their sexuality and who had no family to rely on. She welcomed all of them to think of her as "Mama T". I still love her. I didn't so much care for her husband, but I voted for him just to see her as first lady



TowleRoad has definately been the goto site for a gay spin on the convention. But for those of us that need a little meat in between speeches, thankfully he hasn't forgotten us. He posted a link to the new Logo reality series Shirts and Skins about an all gay basketball team. Unfortunately the Logo site only has these little pictures of them, but hopefully more will pop up soon




Continuing through TowleRoad, we come upon the ATP Calendar for 2009 (which I believe stands for American Tennis... something)

I couldn't figure out who any of these people are (nor could I figure out how to get the pictures from their page). Fortunately, TowleRoad knew both, so here ya go
